Job Summary - South East region (pay is from door to door, 40 or 48 hour week basic + Overtime)

I am representing one of the UK largest independent supplier of plant and machinery to the construction, demolition, ports, timber, scrap and recycling sectors. I am keen to speak with experienced Field Services Engineers / Fitters looking for a position covering either the M4 corridor or the South East of England. Candidates with experience working on large Crushers and Screeners are of particular interest.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to our clients on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Main Responsibilities:

Experienced field service engineer covering the below on various equipment which includes large crushers and screeners.

Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
Warranty repairs.
Damage repairs.
Site visits across various areas of the country
Clear and detailed reporting of work carried out and repairs necessary on engineer iPad

Additional Responsibilities:

Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects
Good communication with customers and other staff

Work experience requirements:

Strong background in Plant industry essential.
NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
CSCS card holder is preferred
Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics
Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
Preferred dealer experience but not essential
Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses.

Full in-house system training will be provided
Tool allowance of £40.00 per month
VW Van with racking (Specialist tooling provided for engineers)

Company Laptop and/or iPad
