Job description
Job Title: Plant Fitter (52.5 hours a week guaranteed plus overtime - Excavators, Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers)

Job Summary:
Are you seeking a dynamic role that offers variety, freedom and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of equipment? Join our team as a Plant Fitter where you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, completing PDI's and repairing a wide range of machinery. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality service, have a strong background in working in a busy Plant yard know what it takes to work as part of a fast paced growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote & comply with H&S regulations and legislation at all times
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of equipment in the depot
  • Diagnose faults, conduct routine services and repaid as well as completing PDI's
  • Collaborate with team members to support the overall growth and success of the company
  • Informing the office of any spares required in a timely manner
  • Keeping the workspace clean and to the “5S” standard at all times and proactively ensuring that work area is safe
  • Maintaining and exceeding workshop targets and efficiency
  • Recording and documenting repairs carried out on iPad device with photographs to support any charges applicable to the customer
  • Willingly perform ad hoc duties as required
  • Build and maintain positive relationship with your colleagues at the depot and in the field

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role such as Engineer, Agricultural Fitter, Mechanic, or Service Technician
  • Knowledge of plant maintenance procedures, fault finding and repairs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
